Job Description

Manage SSHE programs for the current Chandippa breeding location and future expansion
Responsible to maintain site SSHE emergency management, incident investigation, legal compliance, Hazard Identification Risk Assessment (HIRA), Job Safety Assessment (JSA) & other site-specific programs.
Ensure up to date SSHE regulatory permits are in place. This includes all relevant air, water, wastewater, hazardous chemicals and solid/ hazardous/ biomedical/ e-waste/ plastic waste management and safety - construction and operating permits.
Ensure site SSHE system and documentation is robust to the standard of ISO 18001
Conduct thorough SSHE review of any new capital project for Appropriation Request (AR) approval in SAP. Work with site management to facilitate the implementation of contractor safety program for any ongoing construction activities including coordination and conducting pre-construction meetings, work in progress (WIP) audits, and pre-start up audits.
Train employees and promote reporting of safety suggestions (SS), Near miss (NM), behaviour-based safety (BBS) observations in IT tool (Intelex) and support business to implement a corrective action plan
